Leafcutter Bee in UK: Pollen and Nectar Sources
by natureheads on YouTube

This video shows a leafcutter bee visiting some lavendar flowers in the UK.

The film-maker explains that leafcutter bees particularly like herbs such as lavender. They are prolific pollinators and so are great for pollinating the fruit and vegetables in your garden.

In this video you can see that leafcutter bees do not carry pollen on their legs. Instead they pack the pollen on special stiff bristles underneath the abdomen.
