Metallic Green Carpenter Bees in USA
by Leffanta on YouTube

This video shows two metallic green carpenter bees in USA interacting at the entrance of their nest in a piece of timber.

These American carpenter bees are surprisingly similar to the metallic green carpenter bees (Xylocopa) found in Australia.

Carpenter bees are able to perform a special kind of pollination called 'Buzz Pollination' and are important pollinators of native wildflowers.
